Monday's Easy Treat

I first tried these when we went camping this summer with some friends, Mark and Amy.  Amy said they were very simple to make!  Now I am just getting around to trying out the recipe!  These were super easy and super delicious.  If you are looking for a no-bake, easy clean-up, quick treat to make, then this is it!  DSC_2758

What the recipe calls for:

2 cups of sugar ( I only used 1 1/2. Use what you like)

1/2 cup of cows milk

1/4 cup of your favorite cocoa

1 stick of butter

1 tsp. of my friends awesome home-made vanilla

1/2 cup of peanut butter (I like the kind you make because it's healthier and easier where you only have to scoop it once)

3 cups of Quaker oats

-Mix together the sugar, milk, butter and cocoa and bring this to a boil

-Let it boil at the peak for about one minute

-Add in the vanilla and the peanut butter and stir it really well

-Take it off the stove top and add the Quaker oats

-Use wax paper and scoop out clusters ( I preferred to do smaller clusters )

**You can either place them in the fridge to cool them off and harden them faster or you can leave them out on the counter, in which they will take more like an hour to harden up!

ENJOY!!!

Till next time,
