Recipe: Cinnamon Streusel Bread

Cinnamon Streusel Bread!!! YUM! A couple of weeks ago I cheated and made a box of Betty Crocker Streusel muffin mix!!! It was delicious.  Although I really wanted to home-make it from scratch, I thought it would be too hard, but actually it was the least bit hard.  I am by no MEANS any Betty Crocker or "great" baker or cook, so if I could do this, so could you!!!

To start: set your oven to 350

*this is for the mix

-3 cups of baking mix ( I had NO CLUE what this was and the random lady in the same isle had no idea either…yes I'm that weird person that always asks what things are because I literally have no clue ) so in short terms, I bought something that said mix… figured it would be the same, so I choose the cinnamon mix!

-1/2 cup of sugar or you can do less ( I personally like less sugar, and it makes my throat swollen, weird! )

-1/3 cup of flour, I LOVE WHOLE WHEAT EVERYTHING so that's what I used

-1 cup of milk, again we use organic milk here, tastes so much better I think

-1 egg from the coop

*this is for the streusel

-1/3 cup organic brown sugar or whatever you have ( I'm an organic nerd )

-1 1/2 tbsp. of flour

-1 tsp. of ground cinnamon

-2 tbsp. cold butter

Let's make it happen:

-Mix the streusel ingredients first until it because like crumbles, I had to squish it in my hand a little and then I set it aside.

-Now combine all the mix ingredients.

Almost finished:

-spread half the batter into the pan 9x5x3 inch is great!

-sprinkle streusel mix on top

-use the rest of the mix to drizzle on topDSC_2712

-cook for 50 min. or so

-ENJOY!!!!
